Welcome to Sage Wellness. This is a massage therapy practice in Myrtle Beach, SC, offering services and tools to those looking to improve their general well-being and quality of life. Whether the need is pain management, stress reduction, increased energy, inspiration or all of the above, we will work in a non-invasive, holistic way to reach your individual goals.

APPROACH
I believe that good health requires a balance between work and rest. Too much or not enough of either will eventually result in fatigue, pain, mental disorder, and various other ailments leading to the deterioration of our quality of life. Here, I offer therapeutic bodywork to promote proper rest as well as a place to learn and practice classical yoga to promote health through our hard work and to keep us functioning at our best. Our body is designed to move, internally and externally, and it requires constant care to maintain freedom and efficiency of movement.
MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage is at it's best when used as a preventative therapy to keep stress from taking hold in your body. We take on a lot of stress and strain throughout our lives and over time, if not given a chance to recover, our bodies become overloaded by this wear and tear and our health begins to suffer. When receiving bodywork on a consistent basis, many people have reported a reduction in pain, improved sleep, increased energy levels, ability to cope with stressful situations, and a general sense of well-being. This is one of the most nurturing ways to give your body a full and effective recovery from the stresses of life and is therefore recommended at least once a month as a regular part of any wellness program.
YOGA
Yoga is a system of techniques involving physical postures, breath control, concentration, and personal discipline that has been practiced for thousands of years as a way to develop awareness of our own consciousness. Going straight to the heart of the matter, yoga aims to show us how to solve the problems of fear, hatred, attachment, and ignorance, by way of self-realization. The regular practice of these ancient techniques can lead to greater resilience, clear-mindedness, equanimity, and empowerment as we discover our true nature while learning to skillfully cope with the world in which we live. Using Patanjali's Yoga Sutras as a guide, these classes are designed to educate each student in a systematic, challenging, but safe manner that fosters growth in an intimate environment where we will progress at our own pace while learning the Whys and Hows of this practice that are so often left out of the modern yoga experience. One on one sessions are available by appointment or you can join me at Living Yoga and Wellness (5001 North Kings Highway, Unit 108, Myrtle Beach) for a group class on Mondays from 5:45pm-6:45pm.
Faith is the owner of Sage Wellness. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Certified Yoga Teacher. Her specialty is Traditional Thai Massage and she is also available for Therapeutic Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Hot Stone massage on the table. She teaches private yoga lessons here in office and once a week group classes at Living Yoga and Wellness.
